School Colloquium——Moduli and stability of varieties

报告摘要：
We will discuss the construction for moduli spaces of algebraic varieties, based on the positivity of their canonical bundles. We will review the KSBA theory for varieties of general type and K-stability for Fano varieties. Finally, we will discuss progress and future directions for Calabi-Yau varieties.
报告人介绍：
刘雨晨，2007年至2013年就读于北京大学数学科学学院，获本科与硕士学位；2017年获美国普林斯顿大学博士学位，师从亚诺什·科拉尔（János Kollár）教授。博士毕业后于美国耶鲁大学和普林斯顿大学从事博士后研究。从2021年起在美国西北大学工作，现任数学系副教授。主要研究方向：高维代数几何，特别是K-稳定性，模空间，奇点理论。曾获2022年斯隆研究奖（Sloan Research Fellowship）和2023年NSF CAREER奖。
